The Porto 1925 is a limited edition numbered COSC certified chronometer with a silver dial released in the year 2000. This is a watch released 25 years ago this year, and is a re-issue of a watch made 100 years ago this year.

Only 1,925 of this edition were made. It is a re-issue of an original early 1900s Tissot vintage watch. Tissot has since made a several other watches based on that design but this remains the premier version due to the materials, craftsmanship, and chronometer grade movement.

The first owner was a collector who kept it in the box for decades until I purchased it from them. I had a watchmaker conduct a full service in 2023 and it works perfectly.

It includes the original box, all original papers, original strap, and ONE additional strap with clasp – also a Tissot strap, offering two colour and style options. The vegan Colareb strap the watch is on in the photo is NOT included, however the other two original Tissot straps are included. The original box interior has some wear as is usual because of the materials they used to make the inner lining at the time.

The classic Tonneau shape, size, and style of this watch make it suitable for everyone to wear. The case is variable width but is 33mm at the widest. The lugs are 18mm. The movement is a manual wind ETA 7001 with COSC certification.
